Photography - whatever interesting shots I happen to make this week.

Cruising Logs , thoughts and observations on various boats and boating destinations, with a focus on small craft and Canadian inland waterways.

Plans for Small Boats- a slowly growing collection of my designs. Plans are currently available for the Almaguin 400 and 500 outboard-powered utility runabouts, which are ideal for first-time builders needing a small, versatile, inexpensive powerboat that performs well in tough conditions. Several more are still in progress, with design details being filled in as time permits.

Sustainability: services and articles relating to "green building" design, renewable energy, LEED and similar programs, and related topics.

Technology articles: computing, communications, and other areas of interest to 21st-century geeks and techies. I also offer a range of computer-related services, from personalized training to home network setup, aimed primarily at non-geeks and those who think of themselves as "not computer people".
